How did you get the icons to be centered up with the middle of your screen?

Create an empty folder somewhere. Then add a new taskbar and choose this empty folder. Now unfix the taskbar and move the new empty taskbar with the arrows over to the left side. The newly created taskbar must be the left one. Now you can move the other taskbar with the icons to the centre of the screen. Do rightklick and disselect Show Text and Show Title. Fix the taskbar again.
