Looks great bro. I dont want to bother you but I have googled and found many ways to change my taskbar icons, all of which are strange.
What is your method? Thanks :)

Yo bro, my method is as follows. Search for the program (which you'd like to use on the taskbar) in Win 8 startmenu (ModernUI). Then do a rightclick on the icon, use the popupmenu on the button and use the "Open File Location".
You are now wether in: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
or in
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
Now just change the icon with a rightclick on the old icon->properties-Change Symbol->....navigate to a .ico file of your like. That's it. Do this on all programs which you'll want on the taskbar (using the Start Menu adresses mentioned above). When done, return to startmenue, search for (type name) the program again and pin them to the taskbar now.
The advantage of this method is, that you don't have to deal with the Win 8 icon cache (which is a stubborn beast ;-), the new icon is directly visible on the taskbar.

Hi mate. Yes, many ways lead to the same result. Just let me know if you're using Win7 or Win8. And I'll give you a shot and brief introduction to my method.
